Poxy Clinical’s employees have access to key benefits and resources supporting their health and financial wellbeing. We believe it is important to provide our employees and their families with a great benefit program. This summary provides information on the benefit programs currently available to eligible employees.

Medical and dental insurance coverage is available to regular, full-time employees scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week, beginning on your date of hire. You can elect coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield for yourself only, your spouse, and/or your child(ren) up to age 26.

If you enroll in our medical plan, you can also enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA). An HSA account allows tax-free contributions to help you pay for prescription and healthcare expenses now or in the future, up to the annual maximums designated by the IRS.

A 401(k) is likely to be your main source of income when retired, and Poxy Clinical is proud to offer its employees this vital workplace benefit. We have partnered with Betterment to provide you with this essential benefit. Betterment’s 401(k) platform is designed to simplify saving and investing for retirement. Regular, full-time employees are eligible to participate in this program after three months of employment.

Employee Contributions

Poxy Clinical’s 401(k) plan offers you the opportunity to save for your retirement by investing in a traditional 401(k) with pre-tax dollars, as well as a Roth 401(k) through post-tax contributions. Both options offer a range of mutual funds and age-based retirement-ready funds, where Betterment balances your fund allocation based on a planned retirement date.

Employer Contributions

Poxy Clinical helps you save for retirement by making contributions to your 401(k) account. The company will match 100% of the first 4% of your salary contributed. Contributions made by the company are 100% vested.

The balance between work and non-work activities is essential to maintaining quality performance and a positive work atmosphere. This is why Poxy Clinical provides a generous PTO program that includes two weeks of PTO to start, 10 paid holidays, and a paid company shutdown week in December.

PTO

Poxy Clinical provides a flexible bank of PTO to eligible employees to enable employees to balance their work and personal needs. As such, the company has designed a PTO plan that incorporates vacation, personal sickness, family sickness, family activities, and extra holiday time. Regular, full-time employee scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week will accrue PTO hours per pay period.

Holidays & Paid Shutdown Week

All regular, full-time employees will receive:

  • Holiday pay at their regular rate of pay for 10 paid holidays per calendar year.
  • Pay at their regular rate of pay for Poxy Clinical’s shutdown week between Christmas and New Year’s.

Poxy Clinical will assist in repaying student loan debt on a nontaxable basis to further the financial well-being of employees. This benefit is available to regular, full-time employees scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week and who have completed at least 3 months of employment.

The amount of student loan repayment available under the program may vary depending on Poxy Clinical’s fiscal year performance. The loan repayment amount will be prorated for the employee’s first year.

Flex Time

Poxy Clinical recognizes that many employees need flexibility in work schedules to meet childcare and other personal needs. Core company hours are 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and employees are expected to be at work during those hours. Within the structure of the core hours, you may schedule your 8-hour workday as you choose if the nature of your job permits such flexibility, and your supervisor approves your schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule (Cambridge Office)

Poxy Clinical offers employees a hybrid (telecommute/in-office) work schedule for those who work in the Cambridge office. Typically, it is expected that you work in the office 3-4 days per week and 1-2 days from home (project- and workload-dependent).
